The Noises

Drieick, the guy who has posted the majority of blogpantsu’s content quite obviously has a fascination with the culture of the Japanese, or those who make otaku related products/Things.  I, “bested“, share interests with drieick to the extent of… liking anime/manga and thinking japanese culture is kewl.  I didn’t even realize how deep Drieick was into the whole Otaku thing until I checked up on the site today.

I see two new posts on the site, video posts.  It’s fine to have video posts, without a description of the video, or even a description written in foreign characters.  That is true for videos that at least explain themselves, even just a little bit.  What I heard when I clicked on the play button was unexplainable, I couldn’t understand it in the least.  My first reaction was, “O HAI TECHNO”.  Then I heard the orgasming 12 year old in the background and decided to write my opinion in this post.

My Opinion: “No”

PR4

I have no idea what I did, if I did anything, but for some reason blogpantsu.org is pr4.  Well, if I had anything to write about, or something to do with this domain then I definitely would.  Too bad I’m too simple minded to think up anything ingenious.  I’m too simple minded to even use this site for what it was originally for, comical webmaster tips, guides, and ect.

I’ve come to the failure point in my webmaster career where I just can’t seem to do anything by myself, and when I do it turns out horrible.  So perhaps if I get some other writers, perhaps bloggers and webmasters in the same fix as me.  Maybe some day I’ll think of something else to put here, but for now I’ll just let my pr dwindle away until the current pr 4 is meaningless.

Advice for people in the situation I’m in… If you have a useless domain at pr4, either sell it.. or sell links on it for $10-20 a month.  That’s aactually a great way to make a few extra bucks.

Earnings Report: Week 1

I’ve decided to give a little update on how much blogpantsu is making every once in a while. So far, the statistics are meak and unimpressive. Looks like I need to write more about how to get traffic, and visitors, then update with some info posts. So anyways, here are some of the results of my week-and-a-half-or-so of sweat and toil.

Clicks: 4 - For some reason google doesn’t count as many clicks as mybloglog does. Also, some clicks gave me $0 and $0.00.

Google Ad Impressions: 4,319 - All I can say is wow, I really thought I had more than this. Oh well, I’ll get to some hard core promotion once the blog already has some articles!

You might notice that my daily traffic stats show a lot more impressions than google. Probably due to people with adblockers, which I guess I should despise.

Most of my traffic is type in traffic. The second largest amount of traffic coming from digg, and third from stumble upon. So basically, most of the traffic is coming from me, and digg and stumbleupon traffic haven’t been fully utilized. The white area being traffic from other websites.

So, as you can see there are a few visitors coming from comments I’ve written on other blogs. Then some from plurk. Once again, it shows that most requests are coming from type in traffic. Since I haven’t been telling numerous people about the site, that means most of my traffic is coming from myself.
