Dead Space
Creepy. I remember an article about this game in Game Informer (for people outside of the U.S., it’s a gaming-oriented magazine; they write the best reviews, in my opinion). From memory, you are taking the role of a mining engineer from a intergalactic mining company. You’re being sent to this spaceship that apparently disappeared and are also being told to investigate and determine whether the ship and any cargo is salvageable. What you find is that the ship’s crew is dead and the ship is invested with murderous aliens. It’s obvious what comes next: survival.
It’s on the Xbox360, PS3, and the PC. Any takers? Seems there’s also an animated series, which is right here:
