A funny contradiction
We all know what the FCC is, right? Well, if you don’t, then here’s the gist of it:
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent United States government agency. The FCC was established by the Communications Act of 1934 and is charged with regulating interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable. The FCC’s jurisdiction covers the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. possessions.
Right, so there’s a communications regulation agency of the U.S. government. They handle things like what can be said or displayed on public television (television that doesn’t need a subscription; for example, Cartoon Network can be viewed for free, whereas you have to pay extra for Showtime). The contradiction is this video:
If you click on it, it says you must be over 18 to view it. Funny… it’s a television ad. The FCC approved of it, yet some silly monkey went and marked the video as adult content. It’s funny what some people do, don’t you agree?

The FCC has no authority over the Cartoon Network (which cannot be viewed for free), nor can it tell people what do do when they upload videos to YouTube.
So, what the heck is the story here?

Sure, Cartoon Network can’t be viewed for free. You’re either living in Iran or you have a Puritan network provider. By “free,” if you mean by antenna, then you obviously read my post wrong. I was referring to Pay TV (the FCC has little authority over those, since you need to be over 16 to use a Credit Card; Debit, I’m not sure about minimum age, though I do think it’s 16 years of age).
The story: it’s the first time the FCC has approved something that isn’t approved of on the Internet. I’m pretty sure this happens all the time (since almost anyone can block anything on YouTube or any other site that gives them the power), but this is the first time that I’ve seen it, and I found it rather funny. So, I think you’re either trolling or just stupid.
